The well-known Misericordia was officially introduced to the 4th Alpine Parachute Regiment and is in use there.
The blade is milled from Böhler N690 steel, heat treated to 58 HRC to achieve the best combination of edge retention and toughness. It is 118 mm (4.65 inches) long, 4 mm (0.16 inches) thick and has a smooth cutting edge. The weight of the knife is only 87 g (3.1 oz). It features the exclusive Black Warfare finish, Extrema Ratio's innovative and original Geotech camo pattern, which is laser etched on the surface. The handle maintains the typical Extrema Ratio ergonomic profile and is made from glass-reinforced nylon to provide maximum toughness in all circumstances, even the toughest use.
The characteristic ring on the pommel helps the user get a better grip, which exponentially increases the effectiveness of the Misericordia. The Kydex sheath can be attached using a belt clip, Ulticlip and Malice clip. It can also be attached to a MOLLE webbing using paracord.
The Misericordia Black Warfare comes in a weatherproof, dustproof and shockproof IP67 certified waterproof polypropylene case with a pressure relief valve, which also includes the Kydex sheath, a double ULTICLIP, a double grinding plate (ceramic and synthetic diamond) and a metal plaque with the continuous Serial number included within the limited series.

Great quality, even though the knife is quite small and compact it feels rather sturdy and has some weight to it. I really enjoy the trainer and that I can use it to test out the grip tape before applying on the actual knife.
1 Slight cretic: The sheath is rather tight for the actual blade. With the trainer I can pop it out easily of the sheath (rubbing the sheath on your cloth to release the trainer works wonderful - as shown in demonstrations from Skallywag). But with the real blade it seems a bit tight. When pulling the blade out, there are small plastic shavings on the knife. Seems like the blade is shaving off some of the plastic from the sheath every time I pull it out.
Zunächst zum Verkäufer: das Paket wurde direkt nach Bestellung an DHL übersendet und kam sehr schnell an. Auch wenn es nur eine Kleinigkeit ist, habe ich mich zudem über das persönliche Schreiben und die zusätzlichen Sachen sehr gefreut.
Zum Kauf: Das F1 Elmax in der Edition ist perfekt, hervorragend gearbeitet und in einer für mich idealen Zusammenstellung (Stahl, Klingenform, Griff). Es ist zusätzlich noch 40th anniversary eingraviert. Habe es nun am Wochenende reichlich benutzen können (Holz, Feuer) und ich bin derzeit vom Handling und vom Stahl sehr überzeugt. Den Schärfer habe ich noch nicht genutzt. Am Lederriemen abziehen hat gerreicht.
Bin sehr zufrieden.

Schon beim Auspacken ein aha Erlebnis - mächtige Dinger, man hat was in der Hand! Die Verarbeitung ist makellos sowohl das Messer als auch die Axt liegen hervorragend in der Hand nicht zuletzt den Grifformen geschuldet welche die Hand auch wirklich ausfüllen. Auch die Scheiden sind genial gemacht und problemlos beidseitig verwendbar. Lieferung makellos in aufwendiger Box und wirklich scharf geschliffen. Hart getestet hab ich sie noch nicht, verlass mich da auf die Tests der lustigen Holländer. von meiner Seite eine klare Empfehlung!
