The MFE-01 (Rhino Tool) from Halfbreed Blades, was developed for the SOER by our sister brand Hardcore Hardware Australia and is a NATO stock numbered tool.
Designed to perform a multitude of functions dependent on situational requirements and engineered for utility and toughness, our MFE model 01 is an essential personal carry, compact, axe, pry bar, MOE tool.
The MFE-01 is in broad circulation amongst Military and Law Enforcement groups globally, and is highly sought after by civilian markets due to its feature rich design.
Features:
- One-piece full tang construction.
- Multi-function design make the MFE-01 ideally suited for prying, digging, chopping, hammering, cutting, smashing rock, defeating locks, smashing windows, breaking and raking windscreens and as a climbing aid.
- Austrian made 8mm Bohler K110 (D2) tool steel. The entire tool is overbuilt for outstanding longevity.
- Skeletonized handle optimizes weight distribution.
- Hard-wearing, low friction Teflon coating mitigates glare and protects against corrosion. Available in black, dark earth and ranger green colour options.
- Modified claw design optimizes leverage and also incorporates a compact cutting head designed primarily for splitting.
- Extra-large finger choil rearward of the axe head aids control for chopping and when utilizing pry bar functions.
- US made G10. Low profile handle scales are designed to mitigate abrasion with non-gloved hands.
- Handle scales are secured by steel torx fittings.
- Lanyard holes at key points along the tool allow for paracord and carabina attachment.
- US made Kydex. We believe the carry system supplied with our tools is as important as the tool it protects. Each sheath is precision molded for secure retention and easy maintenance.
- The MFE-01 carry system also incorporated a press stud release strap for added security. All MFE-01 series sheaths are supplied with two primary attachment options including Belt & PALS/MOLLE.

Vor einer Woche habe ich hier ein Microtech Socom Alpha Mini Warcom in der DLC Signature Ausführung gekauft. Das Messer ist erstklassig verarbeitet und erfüllt alle Erwartungen, die man an ein solch hochpreisiges Messer stellen kann. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.
Die Lieferung von Knife Addict erfolgte blitzschnell. Auch hier von mir die volle Punktzahl.
Great quality, even though the knife is quite small and compact it feels rather sturdy and has some weight to it. I really enjoy the trainer and that I can use it to test out the grip tape before applying on the actual knife.
1 Slight cretic: The sheath is rather tight for the actual blade. With the trainer I can pop it out easily of the sheath (rubbing the sheath on your cloth to release the trainer works wonderful - as shown in demonstrations from Skallywag). But with the real blade it seems a bit tight. When pulling the blade out, there are small plastic shavings on the knife. Seems like the blade is shaving off some of the plastic from the sheath every time I pull it out.
Zunächst zum Verkäufer: das Paket wurde direkt nach Bestellung an DHL übersendet und kam sehr schnell an. Auch wenn es nur eine Kleinigkeit ist, habe ich mich zudem über das persönliche Schreiben und die zusätzlichen Sachen sehr gefreut.
Zum Kauf: Das F1 Elmax in der Edition ist perfekt, hervorragend gearbeitet und in einer für mich idealen Zusammenstellung (Stahl, Klingenform, Griff). Es ist zusätzlich noch 40th anniversary eingraviert. Habe es nun am Wochenende reichlich benutzen können (Holz, Feuer) und ich bin derzeit vom Handling und vom Stahl sehr überzeugt. Den Schärfer habe ich noch nicht genutzt. Am Lederriemen abziehen hat gerreicht.
Bin sehr zufrieden.

Schon beim Auspacken ein aha Erlebnis - mächtige Dinger, man hat was in der Hand! Die Verarbeitung ist makellos sowohl das Messer als auch die Axt liegen hervorragend in der Hand nicht zuletzt den Grifformen geschuldet welche die Hand auch wirklich ausfüllen. Auch die Scheiden sind genial gemacht und problemlos beidseitig verwendbar. Lieferung makellos in aufwendiger Box und wirklich scharf geschliffen. Hart getestet hab ich sie noch nicht, verlass mich da auf die Tests der lustigen Holländer. von meiner Seite eine klare Empfehlung!
