When designing the M500ANTHROPOID knife, we respectfully examined the original design of the FS knife. Its contour, which cannot be questioned, and its ghostly function have always impressed us, so over time we decided to combine this iconic motif with our full tang construction, which is used in the other models in the Military series, and create a modern model to honor the original heroic deeds.
We have given the solid 6mm thick ELMAX powder steel blade a DLC coating. We made the guard from a single piece of solid stainless steel, creating a 100% safe environment for the handle. The 3D machined handle made of G10 also contributes to this, with an aggressive structure and all-round notching. Thanks to this combination, you will have your M500 firmly under control at all times. We have also provided the base of the handle with a sharp point so that you can break anything that is necessary. The self-clamping Kydex sheath, which we have also equipped with MOLLE SYSTEM clips, allows you to conveniently attach your M500 to your belt, backpack or vest. The M500 can also be inserted into the sheath in both directions thanks to its symmetrical design.

Vor einer Woche habe ich hier ein Microtech Socom Alpha Mini Warcom in der DLC Signature Ausführung gekauft. Das Messer ist erstklassig verarbeitet und erfüllt alle Erwartungen, die man an ein solch hochpreisiges Messer stellen kann. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.
Die Lieferung von Knife Addict erfolgte blitzschnell. Auch hier von mir die volle Punktzahl.
Great quality, even though the knife is quite small and compact it feels rather sturdy and has some weight to it. I really enjoy the trainer and that I can use it to test out the grip tape before applying on the actual knife.
1 Slight cretic: The sheath is rather tight for the actual blade. With the trainer I can pop it out easily of the sheath (rubbing the sheath on your cloth to release the trainer works wonderful - as shown in demonstrations from Skallywag). But with the real blade it seems a bit tight. When pulling the blade out, there are small plastic shavings on the knife. Seems like the blade is shaving off some of the plastic from the sheath every time I pull it out.
Zunächst zum Verkäufer: das Paket wurde direkt nach Bestellung an DHL übersendet und kam sehr schnell an. Auch wenn es nur eine Kleinigkeit ist, habe ich mich zudem über das persönliche Schreiben und die zusätzlichen Sachen sehr gefreut.
Zum Kauf: Das F1 Elmax in der Edition ist perfekt, hervorragend gearbeitet und in einer für mich idealen Zusammenstellung (Stahl, Klingenform, Griff). Es ist zusätzlich noch 40th anniversary eingraviert. Habe es nun am Wochenende reichlich benutzen können (Holz, Feuer) und ich bin derzeit vom Handling und vom Stahl sehr überzeugt. Den Schärfer habe ich noch nicht genutzt. Am Lederriemen abziehen hat gerreicht.
Bin sehr zufrieden.

Schon beim Auspacken ein aha Erlebnis - mächtige Dinger, man hat was in der Hand! Die Verarbeitung ist makellos sowohl das Messer als auch die Axt liegen hervorragend in der Hand nicht zuletzt den Grifformen geschuldet welche die Hand auch wirklich ausfüllen. Auch die Scheiden sind genial gemacht und problemlos beidseitig verwendbar. Lieferung makellos in aufwendiger Box und wirklich scharf geschliffen. Hart getestet hab ich sie noch nicht, verlass mich da auf die Tests der lustigen Holländer. von meiner Seite eine klare Empfehlung!
