Designed with everyday use in mind, the Field 2.0 has quickly established itself as the workhorse of the Toor Outdoor range. Its small size allows it to be worn comfortably throughout the day while having the ability to handle almost any task along the way.
The blade has a straight 2.75" grind for fine work and a razor-sharp 1.75" radius to tip for traditional work. The KG Gunkote coating provides excellent abrasion, chemical and impact resistance, and the blade shape allows for greater steel mass behind the cutting edge, which translates into longer sharpening life and higher impact resistance of the cutting edge.
Additionally, the handles of the Spanish Moss and Battleship Gray blades feature a polished copper accent and ebony scales that provide comfortable ergonomics in the hand and provide a good grip even in wet environments. The wood itself is cut and processed at the Crelicam ebony factory in Cameroon by dedicated and hard-working local workers, and each piece is unique. We hand-finish each ebony handle individually and polish it to an extremely high grit level to ensure the wood lasts a lifetime.
The Backcountry Blaze's blade features Toor's proprietary Dynamic Fluting™ texture on the G10 scales, which provides smooth ergonomics in the hand and improves grip when used in wet environments. This design enforces proper grip mechanics and concentrates all pressure at the apex of the blade, accomplishing the age-old task of providing both comfort and grip. With a precision 0.25" radius on each groove and spiral fluting from end to end, each groove conforms perfectly to the natural positioning of the hand.
Each Field 2.0 is made in the USA and comes with either a genuine Hermann Oak saddle leather sheath or a FlexTech KYDEX® sheath - see pictures!

Vor einer Woche habe ich hier ein Microtech Socom Alpha Mini Warcom in der DLC Signature Ausführung gekauft. Das Messer ist erstklassig verarbeitet und erfüllt alle Erwartungen, die man an ein solch hochpreisiges Messer stellen kann. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.
Die Lieferung von Knife Addict erfolgte blitzschnell. Auch hier von mir die volle Punktzahl.
Great quality, even though the knife is quite small and compact it feels rather sturdy and has some weight to it. I really enjoy the trainer and that I can use it to test out the grip tape before applying on the actual knife.
1 Slight cretic: The sheath is rather tight for the actual blade. With the trainer I can pop it out easily of the sheath (rubbing the sheath on your cloth to release the trainer works wonderful - as shown in demonstrations from Skallywag). But with the real blade it seems a bit tight. When pulling the blade out, there are small plastic shavings on the knife. Seems like the blade is shaving off some of the plastic from the sheath every time I pull it out.
Zunächst zum Verkäufer: das Paket wurde direkt nach Bestellung an DHL übersendet und kam sehr schnell an. Auch wenn es nur eine Kleinigkeit ist, habe ich mich zudem über das persönliche Schreiben und die zusätzlichen Sachen sehr gefreut.
Zum Kauf: Das F1 Elmax in der Edition ist perfekt, hervorragend gearbeitet und in einer für mich idealen Zusammenstellung (Stahl, Klingenform, Griff). Es ist zusätzlich noch 40th anniversary eingraviert. Habe es nun am Wochenende reichlich benutzen können (Holz, Feuer) und ich bin derzeit vom Handling und vom Stahl sehr überzeugt. Den Schärfer habe ich noch nicht genutzt. Am Lederriemen abziehen hat gerreicht.
Bin sehr zufrieden.

Schon beim Auspacken ein aha Erlebnis - mächtige Dinger, man hat was in der Hand! Die Verarbeitung ist makellos sowohl das Messer als auch die Axt liegen hervorragend in der Hand nicht zuletzt den Grifformen geschuldet welche die Hand auch wirklich ausfüllen. Auch die Scheiden sind genial gemacht und problemlos beidseitig verwendbar. Lieferung makellos in aufwendiger Box und wirklich scharf geschliffen. Hart getestet hab ich sie noch nicht, verlass mich da auf die Tests der lustigen Holländer. von meiner Seite eine klare Empfehlung!
